EXCHANGE PROCESS
You can exchange any full-price or sale items within 30 days of receiving your order.
We are unable to process exchanges for international orders or orders placed using Afterpay, ZIp or Klarna whether purchased online or in-store. In such cases, you will need to follow the returns process for a refund and then place a new order or purchase the item in-store.
Exchange via Online Warehouse
If you choose to exchange items via post for a size swap, we will do our best to facilitate the exchange as long as stock is available. However, please note that exchange requests are not held, so we recommend placing a new order for the desired item to avoid missing out. In this case, you can opt for a refund or store credit for the returned item. If the requested item is sold out, we will notify you by email, and a refund will be processed to the original payment method (PayPal, credit card, or gift card/e-voucher).
Exchange In-Store
If you'd prefer to exchange the item(s) in-store, simply visit any General Pants retail store with your order information and the item(s) you wish to exchange. This option is only available for domestic online orders.
Exchange Policy Conditions
Please note that exchanges will only be accepted within 30 days, under the following conditions:
- Items must be in their original condition.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging and placed in a protective postal bag. Shoe boxes must also be returned in their original condition.
- Tags must remain attached to garments. For swimwear, the hygiene stickers must remain in place as sold or shipped, and all swimwear sold as a set must be returned as a set.
- You must provide proof of purchase.
- A returns form must be included if returning items via post.
PLEASE NOTE: Exchanges on underwear and pierced jewellery are not accepted.
FINAL SALE: Items labelled as "FINAL SALE" are not eligible for returns or exchanges if you change your mind. These items are explicitly marked as FINAL SALE on their product page.
However, if the item is faulty, our customer service team will be happy to assess it. In such cases, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.
