When paying for certain services by credit card, a verification charge may be used to authorise your card for the amount due before the actual funds are taken.
The authorisation appears on your bank statement and may look like a charge, however no actual funds are taken.
This while appear as a pending charge and will disappear within a few business days. If the authorisation does not disappear after 5 business days, please contact your bank for further information.
